This role at NVIT requires an instructor with a robust background in construction and Indigenous community engagement. You will deliver two 3-credit courses, focusing on mentoring students and facilitating both virtual and in-person learning. Responsibilities include instructional preparation, participation in curriculum development, and collaboration with industry professionals to enrich student learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver engaging course materials • Facilitate learner interaction through diverse educational methods • Work with Indigenous community representatives and experts • Support student progress through ongoing feedback • Engage in continuous program improvement efforts
Requirements: • At least four years experience in construction management • Knowledge of Indigenous housing and quality standards • Proven ability to facilitate and mentor students • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Commitment to culturally relevant and safe educational practices
