This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching others, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and helping grow a dynamic snow school program.ResponsibilitiesTrain, mentor and lead Snow School InstructorsOversee Snow School Activities and report to the Alpine Guest Services Manager.Monitor and delegate lessons to Snow School Instructors.Manage Snow School Schedule and lesson availability to maximize the use of snow school productsCommunicate with guests over snow school-specific inquiries and provide in-depth information to help guests purchase the correct services.Instruct and coach guests of all ages and abilities to ski or snowboard within your instructor's certification level in a group or one-on-one setting if applicable.Properly assess students of their ability and place them in the appropriate groupsSet up and take down lesson equipment, crowd control measures, and snow school signage.Assist guests with products & services in person, by phone, and by e-mailPrepare guest orders of rental equipment, snow school lessons, and/or lift tickets, processing payments through the point-of-sale system as required.Maintain a safe & clean setting for guests and colleagues at all times, including cleaning washrooms,



cleaning floors and keepingShoveling snow and maintaining a clear and ice-free environment around staff and guest buildingsFollow outlined policies to find solutions to guests' issuesAssist with sales system issues and reportsAssist in the marketing, promotion, and sales of Manning Park Resort products (ski school, group bookings, season passes and/or day tickets).Create and promote new and unique products and events to increase visitation and participation in the sportOversee the terrain parkCoordinate with operations for tasks and projects that need to be completed around the Alpine area.Other tasks as required.QualificationsStrong leadership skills and the ability to multitask.Responsible and self-motivated individual able to assess and prioritize necessary dutiesAbility to work in a high-paced environment as both an individual and team playerEffective time management and organizational skillsStrong computer skills, including Excel, online sales platforms & POS.Will be required to work weekends & holidays.Good physical condition; able to work in outdoor, adverse weather conditions and perform manual laborPrevious supervisor or management experience in a similar service delivery environment is considered an assetLevel 1 or higher Ski or Snowboard Certification is considered an assetThis is a seasonal position, and candidates must be available for the full winter season (November to April).
