This position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of newcomers and refugees, and those significantly marginalized by poverty, addiction, mental health, and housing issues. This role will work with our refugee health clinic, supporting newcomers to Canada along the continuum of care within a health promotion framework and liaising with interdisciplinary team members and external care providers to facilitate the best plan of care for clients.The compensation package:A salary range of $127,000 - $141,000A Psychologically Safe and Inclusive Workplace100% employer-paid health and dental benefitsHealthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)Paid vacation and sick timeQualifications:Required:Bachelor or Master of Science in Nursing from a recognized universityPrimary Health Care Nurse Practitioner CertificateRegistered Nurse in the Extended Class in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses3-5 years of primary care experience in a community setting or combination of community and hospital or public healthKnowledge of trauma and violence informed care and experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma,
