This position also operates, maintains, and repairs Public Works water and wastewater assets.Education and Qualifications:Qualifications will include Grade 12 diploma, valid Class A-Z Ontario driver’s license, Class II Water Distribution System Operator Certificate, Class II Wastewater Collection System Operator License and Class II Wastewater Treatment Operator License. Preferred experience relating to the operation of wastewater treatment and collection facilities and maintenance of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, storm water collection systems, municipal road systems, snow plowing, heavy equipment and commercial vehicle operation. Good verbal and written communication skills, the ability to deal with the public in a courteous and professional manner,



mechanical aptitude and computer skills are required.Compensation will be in accordance with OPSEU Local 123 Collective Agreement. The rate of pay will range from $30.57 – $36.57 per hour and the successful candidate will assume a 40-hour work week.
