Position Summary

As a key member of the Carhive operations team, the Lot Attendant plays an important role in maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient vehicle lot. This position is responsible for moving and organizing vehicles, supporting vehicle deliveries and service appointments, and ensuring inventory is clean, accessible, and ready for customers.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment. Strong attention to detail, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Move and organize vehicles throughout the dealership lot.
- Ensure vehicles are parked safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable lot.
- Assist with vehicle pickups, deliveries, and transportation to service appointments.
- Coordinate and organize vehicle keys.
- Assist with washing, fueling, and preparing vehicles for customer delivery.
- Support the service and reconditioning teams with vehicle movement as required.
- Assist with receiving and organizing newly arrived inventory.
- Ensure vehicles are properly positioned for sales, service, and delivery.
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and vehicle handling guidelines.
- Communicate vehicle status and lot requirements to sales, service, and management teams.
- Support overall dealership operations as required.

Qualifications

- Previous automotive or dealership experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Clean driving record required.
- Ability to drive standard transmission (manual) vehicles is considered an asset.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
