and best practices.Drive the development and implementation of innovative procurement strategies that improve efficiency, manage risk, and enhance value for money.Strengthen procurement processes, tools, and knowledge resources to support consistency, quality, and continuous improvement.Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners and other levels of government, to align procurement practices and outcomes.CompetenciesSystem Thinking : The procurement manager manages all consulting procurement and contract templates. They are required to have a thorough understanding of the interconnections within and between all procurement and contract templates to ensure any changes are reflected in all procurement documents.Creative Problem Solving : The procurement manager is required to continuously analyze existing processes and standards, and to think outside the box to develop recommendations that result in improvementsAgility : The procurement manager will be managing multiple projects simultaneously, often with shifting priorities or timelines.Drive For Results : The procurement Manager is expected to identify key stakeholder relationships, and develop solid working rapportQualificationsRequired:A related University Degree, supplemented by at least four (4) years of related experience.
