As an Adult Protective Service Worker, you will engage with clients, help them set and achieve goals, and advocate for their rights. Your expertise in social service systems will enable individuals to navigate complex bureaucratic processes smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess individuals’ needs and goals for service
• Refer clients to necessary community resources
• Monitor progress towards established goals
• Advocate for clients' rights and choices
• Support clients with housing and legal navigation
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Social Work preferred
• At least 5 years in developmental services
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and insurance
• Standard First Aid and CPR certification preferred
