We are hiring Machine Operators for a food manufacturing facility specializing in the processing and packaging of spices, peppers, flour, sugar, seeds, baking powder, and other food products.

Location: Concord, ON

Pay: $17.60/hour

Start Time: 7:00 AM

This position is specifically suited for candidates who have previous experience working in a spice, pepper, flour, or powdered food production workplace and are comfortable working around strong spice aromas and airborne food dust.

Job Duties

- Operate and monitor packaging and grinding machines.
- Load materials and perform basic machine adjustments.
- Monitor production and ensure products are properly packaged.
- Check product quality and follow production specifications.
- Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
- Clean and maintain the production area and equipment.

During production, the workplace can have:

- Strong pepper and spice smells
- Airborne dust from spices, flour, and other powdered ingredients
- Regular exposure to processed spices and peppers





Applicants should have no known allergy or sensitivity to spices, peppers, flour, or similar powdered food products that would prevent them from safely performing the job.

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing or spice-processing environment is strongly preferred.
- Machine operating experience is required/preferred.
- Experience with packaging or grinding machines is an asset.
- Comfortable working around spices, peppers, flour, and food powders.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willing to follow all safety, food-handling, and PPE requirements.
