Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machinery Cleaner and Painter to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of industrial machinery, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Your expertise in cleaning and painting will help uphold safety standards, improve equipment durability, and contribute to a productive work environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of machinery using appropriate custodial techniques and cleaning agents to remove dirt, grease, and debris.
- Prepare machinery surfaces for painting by removing old paint, rust, and contaminants through sanding or other approved methods.
- Apply protective coatings and paint to machinery surfaces to prevent corrosion and enhance appearance.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify signs of wear, damage, or corrosion that require cleaning or repainting.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning and painting processes to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, paint applications,



and maintenance activities for accountability.
- Assist with general custodial duties in the work area to support overall cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

- Prior custodial or cleaning experience, preferably within an industrial or commercial setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques suitable for machinery maintenance and upkeep.
- Experience with commercial cleaning products and equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate basic hand tools, painting equipment, and safety gear effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship.
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
