We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to lead and oversee maintenance operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, leading maintenance initiatives, and maintaining a safe and effective production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing direction, coaching, and performance support.
- Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and maintenance KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Health & Safety teams.
- Manage maintenance projects, contractors, spare parts, and maintenance-related expenditures.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce equipment failures and downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
- Support continuous improvement, reliability, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications




- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline, or a valid skilled trades certification with relevant technical training and experience.
- 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management experience.
- Proven experience leading maintenance teams and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automated manufacturing systems.
- Experience with CMMS systems, equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root-cause analysis.
- Experience within the corrugated packaging sector is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and safe maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $45.19 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 42.5 per week
