Overview

Join our team as a Maintenance Worker and become a part of ensuring our facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will take charge of routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform repairs. Your approach will help maintain the integrity of our buildings and equipment, supporting a productive and safe workplace for all.

Duties

- Determine material, equipment, and supplies to be used.
- Install, inspect, repair and maintain the plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in the building.
- Coordinate or operate and maintain the heating, cooling and ventilation systems (including boiler system) in the building.
- Perform general repairs such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves and landscaping.
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of various equipment as required.
- Coordinate renovations of existing facilities and the construction of recent facilities.

Qualifications:

- Grade 10 or equivalent (I.e. GED, or Mature Diploma).
- Starting salary will increase based on years of experience in the below fields. However, fresh candidates are still welcome especially if there is a will to learn.

Experience





- Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC equipment, and general carpentry is highly desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward identifying solutions before issues escalate.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance activities clearly.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
