Bigstone Lot 25 Corporation is seeking one experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Maintenance Worker to join our talented team. The maintenance worker will assist in maintaining and repairing Bigstone Lot 25 Corp. Buildings, Equipment and Entities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment and staff housing
- Perform basic carpentry, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC tasks
- Assemble and set up machinery or equipment
- Conduct general cleaning and upkeep of buildings, properties and equipment
- Repair or replace windows, doors, flooring, woodwork and other building components
- Maintain a detailed record of maintenance tasks completed
- Respond to maintenance ticket requests
- Perform seasonal tasks such as maintaining lawns, shovelling
- Other duties as requested

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Broad knowledge of general maintenance and repair procedures
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills




- Effective communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and cultural awareness

Education and Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Journeyman/Red Seal Certification is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Must have WHMIS Certification, H2S, Standard First Aid & Fall Protection, or be willing to obtain
