Must perform measurements, layout planning, cutting, assembling, and installing construction components with adherence to building codes.ResponsibilitiesPrepare estimates of labour and material costs.Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.Prepare layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools.Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.Prepare tenders and quotations.Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.Schedule and co‑ordinate work on sites.Survey building locations and levels.Operate CAD/CAM and other computer software systems.Maintain, repair,



and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.Coordinate one to two workers under supervision.QualificationsSecondary (high) school graduation certificate.Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in construction deployment at heights.Must be physically capable of bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads.Own transportation and willing to travel regularly.Proficient in using hand tools; experience with CADD and other software is desirable.Safety and EquipmentMust wear steel‑toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, safety vest, and maintain personal safety equipment.EligibilityYou can apply if you are:A permanent resident of Canada.A temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit.Do not apply if you are not authorized to work in Canada.EEO StatementThe employer is an equal chance employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
