RBC Insurance employs more than 3,200 employees around the globe, and is the brand name for the insurance operating entities of Royal Bank of Canada.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement data migration strategies for transitioning on-premise or legacy systems to a cloud environment.Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to process structured and unstructured data.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data processing.Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance throughout the transformation process.Collaborate with Data Architects and Analysts to define data models and transformations.Enable self-service analytics by structuring data effectively for end-users.Implement data observability, monitoring, and logging mechanisms.Must-have2+ years of professional experience as a Data EngineerStrong experience in SQL, Python, and cloud-based ETL frameworksHands‑on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (GCP)Proficiency in Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift,
