Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Manage table assignments, coordinate with kitchen staff, and oversee service flow to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Utilize POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders, payments, and handle cash or credit transactions securely
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all areas including dining rooms, kitchen stations, and service stations
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction by recommending specials or popular dishes
- Monitor guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a welcoming atmosphere




- Lead by example in food handling, proper sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations while supervising team members

Requirements

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of hospitality principles
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and inventory purposes
- Previous restaurant experience including serving, cashiering, or kitchen work is highly desirable
- Positive communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to foster collaboration among staff members
