Reporting to: Service ManagerPay$28.63- $47.71 per hourJob DutiesEnsure conveyor belts or systems are working effectively per customer orders and instructionsCollaborate with co-workers, supervisors and customers to ensure successful achievement of expectations for performing a safe and high-quality conveyor maintenance in a safe and efficient mannerLearn about customer relations and conduct oneself professionally at customer sites as a representative of the companyHandle any arising customer issues on site and advise territory Solutions Specialist or Shop/Foreman/Service ManagerProperly identify the basic conveyor system components and troubleshoot to perform basic splices, belt cleaning and pulley laggingDisassemble conveyor system by removing components to gain access to perform spliceLoad trucks with tools, materials and equipment required for conveyor belt installation, vulcanized splices, and other maintenance opportunitiesPerform mechanical, step,



and finger splices using hot or cold repair proceduresAssemble and dismantle cleaner systems along with activating and deactivating cleanersPerform pulley lagging by preparing equipment and applying adhesives and primers necessary to complete jobComplete buffing, trimming and sealing of beltsComplete assigned paperwork on time with accuracyMaintain a safe work environment for the company and comply with safety regulations set forth by the company, as well as customer specific policiesDemonstrate proper use and secure handling of tools, equipment and materialsAttend training such as the Apprenticeship Program and prove competency in acquired skillsReport any faulty part or equipment on field/shop work report and to Service Supervisor/Shop Foreman immediatelyAttend Apprenticeship Training and strive to improve knowledge, skills/abilities, and workmanshipAssist in training and mentorship of ApprenticesMaintain housekeeping of work area (in shop or on site)Perform additional related duties as assignedQualifications RequiredMust be able to work with minimal directionPrevious experienceA valid Alberta Class 5 License and reliable transportationWillingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hoursWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation packageAn excellent Team environmentOpportunities for career developmentInterested Applicants please apply via e-mail: [email protected]#J-18808-Ljbffr
