168-26 RN, Emergency, Temporary Part-Time, St MarysJob Category:Emergency DepartmentRequisition Number:14726001337Posted:May 12, 2026Expiry Date:May 19, 2026Job Location:St Marys, ONPosition Type:Temporary Part-TimeSalary Range:$41.15-$58.98 per hourUnion:ONAOverviewRegistered Nurse for the Emergency Department.ResponsibilitiesThese include but are not limited to:Assess and triage paediatric and adult patients.Interpret 12‑lead ECGs.Provide Advanced Cardiac Life Support and other emergency care.Assist with patient transfers and ongoing monitoring.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team.Plan, organize, and solve problems independently.Make decisive and sound judgement in difficult situations.Observe a forty‑five minute return time when scheduled for standby.Required Education & CertificationCurrent registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).Paediatric and adult assessment, including triage.12‑lead ECG interpretation.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Required Skills & ExperienceRecent courses or in‑services in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing.Ability to work independently and with excellent communication skills.Strong planning, organizing, and problem‑solving abilities.Decisive judgement when handling difficult situations.Visible, approachable,
