OverviewWe are currently looking for someone to join our corporate team as a Home Support Worker - Program Instructor. The role is a hybrid model working out of our and Waterloo, ON office. There may be infrequent travel to offices within the province.The HSW Program Instructor will deliver the HSW course materials in a classroom setting, within a customer focused environment. guides and supports HSW participants throughout the delivery of course materials.Partners with the HSW Program Manager to assess and evaluate the quality of HSW course delivery and the performance of graduates.Promotes a continuous quality improvement approach to customer service and education.Performs other duties as required.Modeling, upholding, and contributing to CarePartners core values of patient-focus, integrity, accountability, partnership, teamwork, transparency, respect and innovation.What You BringCurrent College of Nurses (CNO) Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with NO practice restrictions.Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, preferably leading Personal Support Workers.Experience in providing adult education; minimum one year experience in a formal education role preferredCertificate in adult education or instruction considered an asset.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to function as an effective facilitator, mentor and preceptor.Demonstrated ability to promote a creative learning environment.Demonstrated ability to prioritize, collaborate, and consult with others in an effective and respectful way.Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.Proven computer skills, including email, Microsoft office and work scheduling systemsCurrent CPR CertificationRegular travel throughout Ontario is requiredAble to work non-traditional hoursClear Background CheckAccessibilityCarePartners welcomes and encourages applicants from people with disabilities.
