You will report to an Animation Director and create high‑quality keyframe performances, revealing attitudes, emotions and mood through character movement and behavior. The look of a game is a critical factor for success, so you will help shape player experience and narrative through animation.Role RequirementsDegree in Fine Arts or Computer Animation5+ years of qualified animation experienceProficient in both facial and body animationProficient in keyframe animationAdvanced working knowledge of MayaWorking knowledge of game enginesPassion for animationProduction experience in a professional animation settingAbility to work onsite at the studio as part of a collaborative, in‑person team environmentRole ExpectationsQuickly align with the Animation Director on expectations and creative directionMay be a feature lead based on project needs, ensuring understanding of the Animation Director’s visionCreate high‑quality hand‑keyed animationConvey weight, character personality, mood, and believability through stylized performancesDemonstrate advanced understanding of animation within a game engine pipelineEnsure animation supports overall direction, player experience,

Compensation is determined based on education, qualifications, experience, and location.In Canada, we offer a package of benefits including three weeks of vacation per year, ten days of sick leave, extended health/dental/vision coverage, and basic life insurance.
