About the role The marketing intern role will help us amplify our creative output. You’ll work directly with the marketing team — cutting hot clips from our podcast, editing ad creative, pitching fresh ideas, planning events/webinars, and keeping the operational back end running so the whole team moves faster. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves editing, has an eye for what makes people stop scrolling, and likes bringing order to a busy creative pipeline.
What you’ll do
- Cut hot clips from our podcast. Watch full episodes, find the moments that land, and turn them into short, punchy clips for social. We currently use an AI tool for this, but we want to get more specific on the hooks we are using.
- Edit ad creative. Assemble and polish video and static ads that are ready to run across our channels.
- Bring creative ideas. Pitch hooks, formats, and angles for new ad creative — and help test what works.
- Support the editing pipeline consistently. Be a reliable set of hands on day-to-day edits so nothing sits in the queue.
- Run the operational back end. Organize assets, set up and manage files, schedule and stage content,
and keep our tools and workflows tidy so the team ships quickly and efficiently.
- Support guest outreach for podcasts/events. Reach out to, coordinate with, and schedule guest speakers for our internal events/podcast.
- Support with event planning: Support on landing page setup, logistical planning and optimizations.
What you’ll deliver
- A steady stream of short-form clips pulled from each podcast episode, ready to post.
- Edited, on-brand ad creative delivered on schedule and ready to run - when needed
- A running list of creative ideas and hooks to test each week.
- A well-organized asset library and file system the whole team can navigate.
- Content staged, scheduled, and set up so publishing is rapid and error-free.
- Faster turnaround across the marketing pipeline — less waiting, more shipping.
- Support on event marketing setup and planning
Who you are
- A current student excited to build a career in marketing, content, or media.
- Comfortable with video and/or photo editing tools (for example CapCut, Premiere, Descript, Canva, or similar) — or a fast learner ready to get comfortable quickly.
- An eye for what makes a clip or ad worth watching.
- Organized and detail-oriented — you like clean files and clear systems.
- Self-directed and reliable; you follow through and communicate clearly.
Nice to have
- A portfolio, reel, or a few examples of clips or edits you’ve made.
- Familiarity with social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and what performs on each.
- Basic graphic design or motion skills.
