SIRIUS INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS INC.

For a complete position description, please visit: Marketing Manager.

THE ORGANIZATION

Sirius designs and manufactures chemical injection systems and instrumentation packages for upstream and midstream oil and gas operators. Their equipment runs in some of the harshest production environments in the world - Western Canada, the Permian, and increasingly the Middle East, Africa and Latin America - where precision matters and downtime costs money. Their technologies help eliminate greenhouse gas emissions, improve injection accuracy, and reduce manpower and chemical costs - two of their customers’ largest expenses.

The portfolio includes solar-powered and AC chemical injection systems, environmentally friendly tank systems, and advanced automation technologies.

THE OPPORTUNITY The Marketing Manager owns the full marketing function for both Canadian and US entities: digital presence, demand generation, events, product marketing, and brand. This is a player-coach role - the successful candidate does high-quality work themselves, directs one Marketing Coordinator, and manages external agencies for overflow and specialized production.

The role reports directly to the President & CEO and works closely with the sales organization in both Canada and the US.

Success in the first twelve months looks like: a materially upgraded digital presence, website and video, measured against best-in-class industry benchmarks; a visible increase in qualified pipeline and daylighted opportunities; a professionally executed conference and client-hosting program; and a technical collateral library that requires no rework before it reaches a customer.

A defining requirement of this role is quality of output. Every document, page, video, and interface that carries the Sirius name must be publication-ready the first time.

RESPONSIBILITIES In support of the organization's strategic objectives, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following key responsibilities:

Digital Presence & Quality

- Lead a refinement of the corporate website to a best-in-class industry standard: structure, content, technical product presentation, video integration, and lead capture.
- Establish a video and animation content capability including product, application, and facility video that meets the quality bar of the strongest sites in the sector and managing production vendors as needed.
- Own ongoing digital presence: SEO fundamentals, LinkedIn and relevant channels, and email marketing to customer and prospect lists.
- Establish marketing analytics: traffic, engagement, and lead-source reporting.

Pipeline Growth & Opportunity Daylighting

- Drive measurable growth in qualified pipeline through campaigns, content, and event follow-through.
- Surface and daylight opportunities that would otherwise stay invisible such as dormant accounts, cross-sell openings between product lines, and geographic whitespace routing them to the right salesperson.
- Implement and enforce lead-tracking discipline with the sales teams in both countries,

from capture through qualification and handoff.
- Produce regular pipeline-contribution reporting for the CEO and sales leadership.

Conferences, Industry Events & Client Hosting

- Identify and prioritize the conferences, trade shows, and industry events that matter to the company’s buyers in Canada, the US, and international markets.
- Own end-to-end event logistics: booth design, shipping, staffing plans, pre-show demand generation, on-site execution, and post-show lead follow-through.
- Plan and execute client-hosting opportunities such as facility tours, hospitality events, and technical days that deepen key account relationships.
- Coordinate speaking opportunities, sponsorships, and industry association presence.

Technical Collateral & Product Materials

- Upgrade and standardize the library of datasheets, product one-pagers, application notes, and case studies for the chemical injection and instrumentation product lines.
- Translate engineering and field expertise into customer-facing technical content that speaks the operator’s language: wellsite conditions, injection rates, chemical management.
- Ensure every piece of collateral is accurate, current, and publication-quality before release - the Marketing Manager is the final quality gate.
- Support new product launches and international market entry with fit-for-market materials.

Brand Stewardship

- Own and enforce brand standards across all internal and external materials for both entities - documents, proposals, presentations, signage, digital interfaces, and packaging.
- Act as the company’s editorial standard-bearer: reviewing, correcting, and elevating written materials so they are right the first time.

People Leadership

- Manage and develop one Marketing Coordinator, delegating execution while owning quality and outcomes.
- Direct external agencies and production vendors, holding them to the same quality standard as internal work.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Technical Collateral Standardization : Within the first year, all core product and sales collateral (spec sheets, case studies, presentations, proposal templates) has been audited, redesigned, and consolidated into a standardized, on-brand library that is easily accessible and consistently used across the sales and marketing teams.

• Digital Presence Optimization: Website, SEO, and key digital social channels have been evaluated and measurably improved within the first year, reflected in increased organic traffic, stronger lead capture conversion rates, and a more cohesive, professional online brand experience.

• Conference & Industry Event Strategy : A targeted calendar of conferences and industry events has been identified and executed against within the first year, resulting in a measurable increase in brand visibility,

qualified lead generation, and current relationships within key target industries.

THE INDIVIDUAL

Given the pivotal role this individual will be expected to play in achieving the strategic objectives of the company and in supporting the success of the organization, it is essential that the successful candidate possess the following education, experience, competencies and attributes:

- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or a related discipline is ideal with a combination of education and senior leadership experience being considered.
