Massage Therapist (MT) – Part-Time to Full-Time

Hastings Spa is looking for a professional and experienced Massage Therapist (MT) to join our team at our Vancouver location.

Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time with opportunity to transition to Full-Time

Location: 766 E. Hastings St., Vancouver, BC

Wage: $18.25 per hour + $32.31 commission per service

Hours: 32–64 hours per bi-weekly pay period

Schedule: Day, evening, and weekend availability

Regular Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Start Date: As soon as possible

Language: English

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Our 6,000 sq. ft. facility combines traditional spa experiences with modern amenities, offering private saunas, body massage, foot massage, reflexology, massage and sauna packages, and couples experiences.

We focus on providing an affordable, welcoming, and relaxing spa experience for individuals, couples, and visitors from Vancouver and beyond. Our massage services feature a fusion of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and traditional Chinese Acupressure techniques, allowing our therapists to provide clients with a relaxing and personalized experience.

Job Duties

- Apply finger, hand, thumb, and other appropriate pressure techniques to specific areas of the body.
- Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.




- Provide body massage using techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Acupressure.
- Adapt massage techniques and pressure according to individual client preferences and needs.
- Provide a professional, welcoming, and relaxing experience for every client.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic treatment area.
- Follow all spa procedures and health and safety practices.
- Work professionally and respectfully with clients and other members of the spa team.

Qualifications
- 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant massage therapy experience.
- Experience with Swedish, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, or similar massage techniques is an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
- Ability to work evening and weekend shifts.
- English language proficiency.
