The TTC’s new vision and mission statements also help promote the many environmental, social equity and economic benefits that the TTC provides:Vision:Moving Toronto towards a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous future.Mission:To serve the needs of transit riders by providing a safe, reliable, effective, and accessible mass public transit service through a seamless integrated network to create access to opportunity for everyone.Our Operations Training Centre is seeking an experienced Coordinator, Training to join their team!What You Will DoAs Coordinator, Training, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to training programs, including course creation, scheduling, enrolment coordination, and ongoing Learning Management System (LMS) maintenance. In this role, you will coordinate both in‑house and external training activities, liaise with vendors, manage billing reconciliation, and ensure all training requirements are met. You will also oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Opsco Building Training Centre while supporting testing, commissioning,
and the administration of training simulators and mock‑ups.Conduct license and vision testing, issue identification cards, and schedule pre‑tests with Human Resources.Maintain training calendars, generate audit reports, and support record‑keeping and documentation processes.Participate in the Customer Service Ambassador Program.What Skills Do You Bring?Maintain documentation and historical records.Communicate in a variety of mediums.Manage conflict.Plan and organize activities / projects to meet section and organizational goals.Use office technology, software and applications.Understand and apply administrative policies, processes, and procedures.What Qualifications Do You Bring?Completion of a post‑secondary diploma or university degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Strong knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, with excellent keyboarding, grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP LMS, and other relevant databases.Detail‑oriented with strong organizational, coordination, and customer service skills.Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.Ability to acquire knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code, accessibility requirements, and related legislative obligations.Familiarity with office routines, record‑keeping, employee documentation, and vendor contract processes.Ability to quickly learn procedures related to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.Knowledge of policies, procedures,
