Founded by an OCT certified teacher, Scholars Nest Learning Center provides curriculum aligned supplementary education. We are looking for dedicated Tutors specializing in Math, English, Science, French, or Social Sciences! In this paid role, you will inspire and empower students by providing engaging, personalized instruction tailored to their unique learning needs.

Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, engaging lessons in Math, English, Science, French, or Social Sciences to students of various ages and skill levels
- Assess students’ individual learning styles and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Foster a positive and motivating learning setting that encourages active participation
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve
- Prepare lesson plans and educational materials aligned with curriculum standards
- Support students with homework assignments and exam preparation
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about student progress when appropriate
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of subject matter in one or more of the following areas: Math, English, Science, French, or Social Sciences
- Experience working with children or teenagers in an educational setting, including classroom experience or tutoring roles
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed through engaging instructional techniques
- Ability to create a supportive learning environment that fosters confidence and curiosity
- Prior experience in tutoring or classroom instruction is highly preferred
- Must be able to reliably commute to Center Location
