Math Enrichment Instructor (Part-Time)

Math Mastery School is looking for a passionate and engaging Math Enrichment Instructor to join our growing academic team in Oakville.

- University students or graduates in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Education, or related fields
- Teacher candidates
- Experienced tutors
- Individuals with strong mathematical thinking and excellent communication skills

About the Program Math Mastery School goes beyond traditional tutoring. Our students develop deep conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and mathematical confidence.

- Confidence and independence in mathematics
- Enrichment beyond the standard Ontario curriculum

Position Details

Schedule

Monday to Thursday

4:00 PM – 8:00 PM teaching hours In addition, instructors receive:
- 1 paid preparation hour daily




- Curriculum guidance and teaching support
- Prepared lesson materials and resources
- Small group classes
- Supportive and collaborative setting

Compensation $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours

10-20 per week

Qualifications

- Strong mathematical background
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and confidently
- Reliable, professional, and organized
- Positive and engaging personality
- Enjoys working with children
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an asset but not required
