Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles, machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep operations running smoothly, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

Duties

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, vehicles, and equipment using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues accurately and efficiently, identifying root causes of malfunctions
- Use hand tools and power tools to repair, replace, or adjust parts as needed to restore equipment functionality
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize repairs and ensure safety standards are upheld at all times
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or machinery, following technical specifications and safety protocols
- Travel to job sites to perform equipment repairs and maintenance
- Ensure work areas are clean,



organized, and compliant with safety regulations to promote a safe working environment

Qualifications

- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repairing machinery or vehicles
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., to perform repairs effectively
- Experience operating power tools safely and efficiently in a maintenance setting
- Robust problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately
- Excellent attention to detail combined with good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in heavy duty mechanics is preferred
- 1st Aid and H2S required
- Driver's license required
- Individual to supply their own tools
- Wage will be determined based on experience
