As part of the VulcanX team, you will contribute over 8 years of extensive mechanical engineering experience, particularly within chemical plant design.
You'll engage in mechanical system designs, piping, and high-temperature hydrocarbon pyrolysis projects. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring optimal project execution and compliance across various phases from conceptual design to construction. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success
- Design and assess mechanical equipment specifications
- Engage in vendor document reviews and compliance checks
- Conduct stress analysis on critical piping systems
- Support project schedule planning and engineering estimates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Applied Science
- 8+ years of relevant experience in hydrocarbons and chemical processing
- Certified Skilled Engineer status in Alberta or BC is an asset
- Proven track record with high-temperature systems
- Experience with EPC companies is preferred
