Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, experienced and dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineering Designer to join our forward-thinking engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing detailed mechanical designs, creating precise schematics, and transforming conceptual ideas into tangible solutions, specifically automotive upfitting. Your expertise will drive the design and development , ensuring they meet rigorous standards for performance, safety, and manufacturability.

- Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Design mechanical components and assemblies, integrating system requirements with manufacturing capabilities.
- Create comprehensive schematics and technical documentation to support manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.
- Support prototype fabrication by providing detailed 2D design instructions and overseeing initial testing phases.
- Contribute to system design reviews, offering insights on mechanical knowledge, schematics interpretation, and integration challenges.

Qualifications

- 5 + years of engineering desing experience.




- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with strong emphasis on mechanical design principles.
- Proven experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo for creating detailed models and drawings.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, bending, welding and assembly techniques.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems design principles combined with practical mechanical engineering knowledge.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics, system diagrams, and technical specifications accurately.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
