Rotech pumps & Systems Inc. – Mississauga, ON

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provides in-depth technical information and support to distributors and/or end-users who require assistance with system design and technical hydraulics.
- Utilize technical knowledge to provide rapid, accurate and effective answers to incoming inquiries.
- Position requires excellent time management skills to handle large volume of inquiries.
- Responsible for establishing accurate prioritization of work to provide timely answers to all customers.
- Creates and maintains Applications Engineering data base in conjunction with distributors to assist in promoting products.
- Maintain, review and analyze quotes data base to insure timely follow up and appropriate support as needed.
- Provides documents and records for non-catalog products.
- Coordinates production of same with appropriate departments and execute Sales Orders.
- Visit customers on Site whenever required and offer technical assistance. Provide cross reference information for obsolete products upon request.
- Participates in meetings, seminars,



and training sessions for distributors and Regional Managers.Research and offer recommendations regarding commercially available products that can enhance the sale or performance of currently offered products.
- Attends trade shows as required.

Qualifications/Requirements: 0-1 years of technical sales, product management, engineering or marketing as well as a Bachelor Degree.

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Knowledge of MS Word processing software; MS Excel spreadsheet software contact management systems.
