This role serves as a strategic business partner and hands‑on leader, responsible for driving talent, culture, compliance, and operational HR excellence.You will play a key role in aligning HR initiatives with business goals while supporting a high‑performing, engaged workforce.Key ResponsibilitiesHR Leadership & Business PartnershipServe as the primary HR partner to site leadership, providing strategic guidance and day‑to‑day supportDrive HR initiatives that align with business objectives and operational prioritiesIdentify workforce trends, risks, and opportunities; develop actionable solutionsTalent Management & DevelopmentLead full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding processesDesign and support performance management, succession planning, and talent development programsPromote a continuous learning culture through training and development initiativesEmployee Relations & CultureAct as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters,
ensuring fair and consistent resolutionFoster an inclusive, engaged, and high‑performance workplace environmentLead employee engagement activities and initiatives (including Social Committee oversight)HR Operations & ComplianceEnsure HR policies, procedures, and practices are documented, maintained, and compliant with applicable regulationsMaintain personnel records, organizational charts, and HR reporting (including monthly metrics)Oversee benefits administration (RRSP, health, vacation, etc.)Manage payroll processes in PayworksWSIB claim management and Workers’ compensation for different provinces.Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirementsAdditional ResponsibilitiesMaintain job descriptions.Support broader business initiatives and continuous improvement effortsAll other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation & CertificationsUniversity degree in Business, Human Resources, or related fieldCertified Human Resources Professional (CHRP or equivalent) preferredExperienceMinimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including site‑level HR leadershipExperience in a manufacturing or industrial setting strongly preferredFamiliar with payroll processing, year‑end activities for payroll.Core CompetenciesStrong leadership and relationship‑building skillsExcellent communication, organizational,
