Rural Roads Health Services (RRHS) is actively seeking applicants for a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) position in our Laboratory.

The primary location for this position is: Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital . Required to collect, prepare, label and refer laboratory specimens; Perform phlebotomy and ECG procedures; Clerical duties as applicable. Completed post-secondary course at an officially recognized community college or technical institution related to phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Assistant Program; ~ Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant (OMST) required; ~2 years' experience in phlebotomy in a hospital environment; ~ Possess solid technical skills for phlebotomy and ECG collection,



including preparation and processing of specimens and patient documentation; ~ Knowledge of ECG billing in Cerner and MUSE application; ~ Skilled behavior and communication that meets the standards of the professional regulatory college or association, as applicable As per the OPSEU Salary Grid ($32.59 per hour to $37.26 per hour) Must be available to work all shifts as required, which may include weekends, statutory holidays, days, evenings and night shifts.

Hours are subject to change based on operation needs of the hospital.
