Part-time Medical Office Assistant / Receptionist required for 2-3 shifts a week at a multidisciplinary healthcare clinic.

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be available to work between approximately 11:00am – 7:00pm
- Minimum 1 year contract
- Hiring a mature and established individual, looking for long-term, reliable employment (additional hours available if desired)
- Proficient use/skill with computers, MacOS, keyboarding, Microsoft Office
- Enjoys completing tasks independently and is self-motivated
- Able to multi-task and juggle different duties at the same time
- Strictly uphold patient privacy and confidentiality
- Quick learner and responds positively to feedback

DUTIES

- Display friendly and enthusiastic customer service
- Professional and confident with phone calls, email, and in-person communication
- Welcoming and rooming patients
- Scheduling patient appointments and billing using JaneApp
- Maintaining clinic and treatment room organization and supplies
- Washing and folding laundry, light cleaning, and sanitization
- Office administration including copying, scanning, faxing, and use of Microsoft Office




- Communication with healthcare providers via in-person, letters, or phone calls as required

ASSETS (preferred but not required)

- Previous work experience at a healthcare and/or physiotherapy clinic
- Previous work experience in a customer service role
- Experience using JaneApp
- Fluent in a second language
