As a Red Seal Industrial Mechanic, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive within the organization. Job Title: Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Location: Hants Port, NS Pay Range: $39 - $40, plus $2 per hour retention bonus Shift: Rotating Days and Nights What's the Job? - Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance. - Work with blueprints to assemble equipment, power transmission systems, and hydraulics. - Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. - Replace parts and components as needed, adhering to safety standards and procedures. - Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations of manufacturing equipment. What's Needed? - Valid Red Seal certification as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanic. - Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics. - Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. - Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment to safety and quality standards.
