The role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing engaging learning solutions in English and French that support business performance and career development.BenefitsFlexible work arrangements.Employee discounts – 15% on auto and property insurance and many other products.Good Office program – receive up to $400 back after purchasing office equipment.Student Loan Payment Matching Program for Government student loans.Comprehensive retirement savings program with employer matching contributions.Annual wellness allowance.Personal days.Tuition reimbursement.Opportunities to work within the community and give back.AccountabilitiesPartner with business stakeholders, project teams, and SMEs to conduct learning and performance needs analyses, define objectives, and recommend appropriate solutions.Lead instructional design projects from intake and analysis through design, development, evaluation, and handover, ensuring practical, scalable solutions aligned to business needs.Recommend suitable learning strategies and delivery methods—such as instructor‑led, virtual, eLearning, blended, job aids, and performance support—based on the target audience, context, and objectives.Plan, design, and develop high‑quality learning solutions that support both business and professional development in English and French.Apply instructional design and adult learning methodologies (e.G., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to create engaging,
learner‑centred experiences.Design learning assessments and evaluation approaches to measure effectiveness and support continuous improvement.Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines to facilitate effective coordination of resources and delivery milestones.Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning & development practices by sharing lessons learned, templates, and best practices.QualificationsProven experience designing and developing learning solutions using tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond, or other authoring tools.Demonstrated knowledge and experience applying instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and learning project management practices.Bilingual proficiency in English and French, both oral and written.Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end learning projects, including stakeholder consultation and multiple concurrent initiatives.Experience designing and developing technical or complex learning content.Experience using digital adoption or in‑application learning tools (e.G., Whatfix or similar) to embed guidance, job aids, and performance support directly within business systems.Ability to quickly learn new subject matter and work effectively with SMEs.Experience in the insurance industry is an asset.EEO StatementAllstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
