Vehicle Merchandising & Lot Attendant
James Braden Ford is seeking a full-time Vehicle Merchandising & Lot Attendant to join our award-winning team. We have an immediate opening for an existing vacancy at our busy Kingston dealership.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that plays an important role in keeping our vehicle inventory, dealership property and online vehicle listings looking their best.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-presented vehicle lot and showroom.
- Receive new and used vehicles, inspect them for damage and complete required paperwork.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, properly parked and ready for display or delivery.
- Take clear, high-quality photos of vehicles for our website and online listings.
- Assist with the merchandising and presentation of vehicle inventory.
- Move vehicles throughout the dealership property as required.
- Pick up and/or drop off customers and customer vehicles when required.
- Assist with general building, lot and lawn maintenance.
- Run dealership-related errands.
- Help keep outdoor areas clean and well maintained throughout the year, including during changing weather conditions.
- Support the dealership team wherever needed in a very fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Valid Ontario G2 driver's licence or higher.
- Must provide a satisfactory driver's abstract.
- Must provide a satisfactory criminal record check.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable moving and parking a variety of vehicles including standard transmission vehicles and Superduty trucks and vans.
- Reliable, organized and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping vehicles and dealership property well presented.
- Solid verbal and written English communication skills are required for customer communication,
teamwork and completing job-related documentation.
- Comfortable using a smartphone or camera to photograph vehicle inventory.
- Willingness to pitch in and help wherever needed.
- Snow plow experience would be an asset.
Hours of Work This is a full-time position. The schedule will include days, evenings and weekends as required.
Overtime will be paid in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act.

Work Environment
This is an active, hands-on role that requires working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and being on your feet for extended periods.
Our dealership is a pet-friendly environment, and candidates should be comfortable around dogs that may be present from time to time.
