- Emphasize proper technique, discipline, respect, and sportsmanship
- Lead fitness and conditioning drills to improve strength, agility, coordination, and endurance
- Facilitate controlled drills, pad work, and skill-based challenges (no unsafe sparring)
- Adapt instruction to suit a range of ages, abilities, and experience levels
- Provide individualized feedback to support skill development and confidence
- Promote a positive and inclusive training environment focused on growth and safety
- Supervise campers during activities, transitions, and breaks to ensure safety and appropriate behaviour
- Assist with daily camp setup, cleanup, and equipment organization
- Build positive relationships with campers, families, and TAC Sports staff
- Follow TAC Sports’ program plans, safety procedures, and child supervision standards at all times
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in camps, sports programs, or martial arts settings
- Background in martial arts (e.g., MMA, boxing, kickboxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, or similar disciplines)
- Ability to teach techniques in a safe, controlled, and age-appropriate manner
