Afternoon Shift starting at 3:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

- Working in a food processing environment.
- Finding and obtaining ingredients from the warehouse.
- Weighing and measuring different ingredients according to the recipe.
- Pouring ingredients into a mixing machine as per recipe instructions.
- Operating the mixing machinery.
- Cleaning of used tools, utensils, and tables at the end of the shift.
- Bringing knives back to production supervisor at end of shift.
- Identifying allergens and following allergen colour coding system.
- Labeling Work in Process ingredients.
- Notifying production supervisor of all quality issues.
- Recording quantity and raw ingredient lot codes on recipes.

Qualifications:
- Experience in food production industry




- Must be detail oriented
- Follow Food Safety and HACCP systems and GMP rules
- 1 to 3 years experience in scaling and mixing in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand on their feet for most of the day.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear safety shoes, masks, hairnets and uniform all day.
