Doane Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, US Corporate Tax to lead and grow our US Tax practice in Canada.ResponsibilitiesTake a leading role in managing and growing our US corporate tax practice.Proactively provide tax advice and solutions to clients to expand business.Supervise and review the work of junior associates for accuracy and completeness.Manage and mentor staff.Review corporate US income tax returns.Collaborate with team members in Tax and Assurance groups.Monitor engagement budgets and project milestones.QualificationsAppropriate relevant accounting designation (CPA or EA).Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions.US Masters in Tax considered an asset.At least 7 years of experience in US Tax in public accounting or industry.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Exceptional project management and organizational skills.Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail; quality driven.Excellent written and oral communication skills.LocationsThe role may be based in Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton, or Waterloo.SalaryCurrent salary range for this role is $128,000–$178,000 in Toronto, ON; the range may vary by location to reflect local market factors.BenefitsProfit sharing.Flex days.RRSP contributions.Firmwide holiday closure.Wellness benefits.Concierge-like advantages.Work from anywhere in Canada for 4 weeks in summer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
