These activities support projects of interest to the nuclear and particle physics communities with experimental programs supported by the Institute of Particle Physics, and the Canadian Institute for Nuclear Physics.ResponsibilitiesActively participates in research projects by interpreting research needs, recording the results of experiments, interpreting data, and analysing the significance of results achieved.Designs and builds mechanical, magnetic, electronic, computer or other scientific equipment by using specialized software (custom developed software as well as computer aided design, computer algebra systems, simulation, etc.) and operating fabrication equipment (milling machine, lathe, band saw, etc.) to meet experiment requirements.Specify purchase orders related to ongoing projects including obtaining price and service quotations, communicating with suppliers, researchers, and keeping reports.QualificationsBSc in physics,
