END DATE MAY 2026)WAGE RATE: $63.66 - $80.21The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary care, consultative services and care planning for patients with a mental health or addiction diagnosis. Through clinical consultation, staff education and research, the Nurse Practitioner will promote best practices in mental health and addiction care for inpatients and outpatients. The Nurse Practitioner will demonstrate leadership in evidence-based practice, participate in quality improvement and act as a mentor to nurses and other interprofessional colleagues.Required QualificationsCurrent registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (EC)Current controlled substance education or willing to obtainACLS/BCLS or willing to obtainAdvanced clinical knowledge and implementation of evidence-based practiceSuperior interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skillsExcellent decision making,
