We are looking for a Application Support Analyst specialised with Linear Rate for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal

Role Overview :

The team is looking for an Application Support Analyt / Business Analyst on the Fixed Income - Capital Market activities to contribute to the various business projects in the Linear function. The candidate will contribute to the implementation of global Front and Back solutions to meet the needs of the trading desks. You will join a multi-skilled team (Project Owner, Developer, QA, and Support) in charge of the complete lifecycle of the information system.

Key responsabilities :

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :

- Provide assistance and support to IRD trading teams
- Strengthen the level 3 support system with a view to “You build it, you run it”




- Review and validate the adequacy of the solution as expressed by the business line
- Design the IT solution in collaboration with other IT teams.
- Write the functional documentation of the solution (specifications, story maps,...)
- Design and draft test plans and ensure the smooth industrial implementation of functional approvals.
- Coordinate user testing
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the performance of the application.
- Be a force for proposal and contribute to innovation in the field.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Graduated in Market Finance
- Knowledge of Capital Markets activities, Interest rate: Pricing (interest rate curve models) and Risk
- Knowledge of the rate business booking workflow (Clearing, Trading, Trade events, Marketwire workflow)
- Knowledge of the regulatory setting Capital Market.
- Experience working with Agile teams, and managing dependencies in an Agile and non-Agile team context
- A team player with real time management skills and able to work in a multi-cultural context
- Analytical reasoning and problem solving capabilities
