M.Sc. Position in Poultry Nutrition An M.Sc. position is available at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Université de Montréal, under the supervision of Dr. Reza Akbari.

The project will investigate whether dietary 1,25(OH)₂D₃ can improve performance, eggshell quality, bone health, and immune resilience in laying hens challenged with avian pathogenic E. coli.

The successful candidate will participate in animal trials, sample collection, laboratory analyses, data analysis, and scientific writing. Candidates with a background in animal science, veterinary medicine, poultry science, or animal nutrition are encouraged to apply. Research and poultry industry experience are assets. Qualified English proficiency is required.

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is located in Saint Hyacinthe,



approximately 60 km east of Montréal. Université de Montréal is a French language university. Applicants must demonstrate at least a basic level of French at admission, potentially A1, and achieve the required French proficiency before completing the degree.

The maximum available stipend is CAD 18,000 per year for two years. Applicants should carefully consider tuition fees and living expenses in Saint Hyacinthe before applying.
