Responsibilities

- Design and deliver agile music lessons tailored to diverse student age groups, including early childhood education settings.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, including special education needs.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, creativity, and confidence in musical pursuits.
- Assess student progress regularly through observations, performances, and assessments; provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to develop individualized learning plans and ensure student success.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track attendance,



assignments, and student performance data effectively.
- Support students in developing foundational skills in music theory, rhythm, melody, and basic math concepts related to music.

Experience

- Proven classroom experience teaching music or related subjects in educational settings.
- Strong background in early childhood education with an understanding of developmental milestones.
- Experience working with children of varying ages and abilities, including those requiring special education accommodations.
- Knowledge of teaching strategies for integrating math concepts into music instruction.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging students, parents, and colleagues alike.
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques to reinforce learning outside the classroom environment.
- Experience using LMS platforms for lesson planning, assessments, and record keeping is preferred.
