Mutual Fund Administrator

Bedford, NS | 5 Days Onsite

Seeking an experienced Mutual Fund Administrator to support transaction processing and shareholder services within a financial services environment. Strong Mutual Fund administration experience is essential, with Unitrax and FundSERV experience highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Process financial and non-financial mutual fund transactions, including purchases, redemptions, switches, account setups and investor changes.
- Perform daily trade reconciliation and settlement.
- Monitor workflow queues and ensure transactions are completed within established SLAs.
- Process direct trades, wire orders, deposits and cheque transactions.
- Perform quality control and transaction audits to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve transaction and processing issues.
- Communicate with internal teams and external clients regarding account and transaction activity.
- Support process improvements and maintenance of operating procedures.

Must Have

- Experience with Mutual Fund administration/operations.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund transaction processing.




- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume workflows and meet strict processing deadlines.
- Strong communication and client-service skills.
- Must be able to work onsite in Bedford, Nova Scotia 5 days per week.

Highly Preferred

- Unitrax Recordkeeping System experience.
- FundSERV experience.
- Segregated Fund administration experience.
- Knowledge of registered products, taxation and regulatory/compliance requirements.
- IFIC Mutual Funds Operations Course.
- French reading/writing skills.

Location: Bedford, NS – 5 days onsite Rate: $25–$30/hr INC

Duration: 6 months

Hours: 9:30 AM–6:00 PM

Overtime: Approximately 7 hours/week may be required during tax season

Extension/Conversion: Potential for extension or permanent hire
