LeverageTek is actively seeking a Technical Lead (Payments and Banking Systems Operations) for a 1-year term position with its Ottawa-based customer.Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work 2 days per week in office at the customer headquarters in Ottawa. Ottawa-based candidates are preferred; Toronto-based candidates will be considered.Key TasksSupport ongoing operations, administration, configuration, and business issue resolution related to mission critical payments systemsOversee and monitor the development and execution of core processes including Release Management and Technical Currency PlanLead the development of strategic system management deliverables including requirements gathering and solution implementationDevelop, implement, and maintain a divisional strategy aligned with organizational strategy to enhance or sustain existing servicesDevelop and implement methodologies and solutions related to system managementProvide strong leadership to team members, ensuring tools and support are in place for team successPartner with key business stakeholders to align business objectives and provide expert guidanceCoordinate activities of internal resources and external consultants on a project basisEngage with vendors to ensure maintenance of critical systems and processes in adherence to best practices and operational excellenceAssist with identification of departmental budgetary needs associated with projects and activitiesKey QualificationsMinimum 8 years of progressive experience in a systems analyst role, including 5 years of progressive leadership experienceStrong hands‑on experience with Oracle, VMware, MQ,
