Located at Cape Breton Regional Hospital, you will leverage your expertise in assessing and treating youth mental health issues, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. To be successful, you should possess a Master's degree and two years of licensed clinical experience, along with competencies in crisis intervention and family collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver evidence-based treatments tailored to youth needs • Conduct psycho-social assessments under clinical pathways • Collaborate in consultation groups for treatment efficacy • Engage parents and families in the care process • Provide harm reduction approaches and strategies
Requirements: • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field • At least two years of licensed experience required • Registration with the relevant provincial body • Knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for mental health • Skills in facilitating individual and group therapy sessions
