A Graduate Degree would be considered an asset.You have a minimum of seven (7) years of recent and progressive occupational experience in a field related to the School of Trades and Transportation or School of Technology and Environment.You have a minimum of five (5) years in a formal supervisory, management or leadership role. Experience in your field includes formal teaching at a post-secondary level.Occupational experience that includes community and industry engagement would be considered an asset.You have experience managing physical and financial resources to ensure effective service delivery. ensuring the highest standard of quality and consistency in programing while supporting student success.Lead and manage approximately 27 faculty and staff.With your strategic and operational leadership, ensure the objectives of programs offered by NSCC are met through efficient and effective management of all fiscal and human resources, while endorsing the application of adult education principles and portfolio learning.Bring innovative and creative approaches that maximize NSCC assets to increase training opportunities through multiple program delivery modes during the full calendar year for the School of Trades and Transportation & School of Technology and Environment at Strait Area Campus.Ensure students receive quality academic programming and have access to services and supports to make informed decisions on educational and career plans, goals, strategies, course planning and recovery, policies and procedures, including appeals.Be responsible for the delivery of NSCC programming as well as leading the campus delivery of customized and continuing education programming which will include evenings and weekends; on and offsite.Be a key member of both Campus and School teams.
