The Supervisor, Stewardship Field Services, plays a critical field‑based role ensuring the effective and compliant operation of the returns network across both TBS‑operated and third‑party sites, including LCOs and Empty Container Dealers (ECDs). The position focuses on building on‑the‑ground relationships, supporting site onboarding and training, monitoring operational and compliance standards, and resolving issues that impact the customer and partner experience.LocationField‑based for Southern Ontario, ideally suited for candidates located along the Windsor–Ottawa 401 corridor. Up to 80% business travel is required. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.What You’ll Be DoingBuild and maintain strong on‑ground relationships with TBS retail and redemption sites, third‑party return sites (LCOs, ECDs), municipal/regional partners, and other DRS stakeholdersOrganise and facilitate ECD contract discussions, sign‑ups and renewals, balancing varied interests to achieve fair,



team-oriented and sustainable outcomesPerform onboarding and provide ongoing operational support and training for redemption and container return locations to ensure consistent execution of DRS requirementsPromote, support and monitor DRS operations across retail and ECD locations, ensuring appropriate coverage, collection practices and service continuityAct as the primary TBS liaison for Alcohol & Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)‑related compliance activities within regulated DRS services, including ad‑hoc site visits to monitor empties handling complianceResolve third‑party return site disputes arising from customer complaints, logistics issues or processor concerns, applying a solution‑focused approachIdentify and investigate new partnerships, pilots and innovative service delivery methods to strengthen and evolve the empty returns networkRepresent TBS at stewardship and community events, including charitable initiatives, bottle drives, trade shows, conferences and industry roundtablesSupport stewardship policy and network expansion initiatives by contributing to operational guidebooks, coverage assessments, implementation planning and partner communicationsAssist in monitoring accessibility, consumer return behaviour trends and return‑site performance, and respond to internal, consumer and third‑party inquiries related to stewardship and sustainabilityPartner with the marketing team to support DRS messaging, communications, sponsorships and consumer awareness initiatives, ensuring accuracy, consistency and reputational integrityPerform other related duties and projects as assignedEducationBachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Public Relations/Policy, Environmental Management/Studies,



Corporate Social Responsibility/Sustainability or related field is required.Experience3–5 years of related experience in a field services or environmental stewardship capacity.SkillsAdept at creating and posting social media contentProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience influencing and negotiating across stakeholder groupsKnowledge of environmental policy, particularly extended producer responsibilityExcellent time management and organisational skillsCritical thinking and robust analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects in a proactive, self‑directed mannerStrong interest in sustainability, stewardship and recycling; experience working withproduct stewardship is an assetCompensation$65 900 – $82 400 CAD per year.
