and daily infection prevention screening of clients and workers to help prevent exposures to COVID-19 or other infectious diseases.The Work You Will DoAs a Nurse Team Lead you will be very hands-on in the community, providing direct client care, guiding a happy, healthy well-balanced team of care providers and building your client base all while making a difference in the communities we serve.Assessment DeliveryVisit your Clients and Caregivers on a regular basis. This role is an active community position that requires regular home visits within the community. This role involves a high level of hands-on care, training and coaching including weekly onsite visits with clients and caregivers in the community. This role also includes community outreach where you will build partnerships and promote this creative approach to home care.LeadershipSupervise, support, mentorship of caregiversAudit and regulatory compliance for provincial and in-house best practices.Visit clients and staff, providing hands on care as well as training and mentorshipCombine an entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on leadership in the community through organized outreachHuman ResourcesCoordinate human resources concerning recruitment and selection, orientation and training, discipline, and the probationary/annual performance review of reporting neighborhood health team membersSupervise and support licensed and unlicensed employees to ensure compliance with all federal and provincial legislated standards of practice as well as company policies and procedures.Responsible for the safety of your team and we ask that you notify your immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concernsTraining & DevelopmentCoordinate and provide training and mentorship for caregiversEngage in ongoing education, continuous learning for yourselfCommunity CareProvide hands-on Clinical/Nursing care, sometimes as the on-call nurseBuild Client relationshipsSupport/Train and Mentor Caregivers in the Field while working with ClientsThis position may have an occasional an after-hours support componentExperience with community outreach and relationship development,



networkingQualifications:Who You Are:You have a desire to help improve the lives of those in your community.You have a reliable vehicle and are willing to travel to visit clients within the community on a daily basisA Graduate of an accredited Provincial Nursing Program with current registration in good standingValid CPR certificationYou have solid knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of community nursing and service delivery to clients as well as program development, implementation and evaluationYou have at least five (5) years of recent experience with progressive responsibilities, preferably in a community settingExperience in business development is an assetYou have exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations in an objective consistent format; ability to work independently and effectively lead a team; Great report writing andEngligh communication skills with both Field and Administrative employees.You are dedicated to providing high-quality serviceAt Bayshore Healthcare, we are committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation practices.
