The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major landing gear components for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.The supervisor is responsible for overseeing production activities to ensure team efficiency.Main responsibilities:Perform daily monitoring of operations on their shift to ensure teams meet targeted performance levels in terms of production plans, quality, EHS, etc.Coordinate the work of production teams on the floorEnsure compliance with productivity and yield objectivesMonitor indicators (deadline compliance, scrap rates, machine downtime, etc.)When necessary, prioritize production progress trackingEnsure transition between the preceding and following shifts and reassign employees as neededIdentify and anticipate problematic situations or areas for improvement and coordinate resources to ensure efficient productionGuide, support, and supervise manufacturing employees (compliance with rules, communication, annual evaluation, approval of payable hours, etc.)Manage schedule changes, overtime, absences, etc.Support and participate in quality, continuous improvement, Health, Safety, and Setting efforts (IGP, 5S, risk analysis)Foster the skills development of manufacturing employees, including newcomersLead and participate in daily production team follow-up meetings (QRQC, etc.)Schedule:Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AMMonday to Wednesday from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AMYou finish on Thursday morning at 7:00 AM.WE OFFER:A competitive salaryAn annual profit-sharing program (max $3,500/year)A comprehensive group insurance program 100% paid by the employer (medical/dental/vision, short and long-term disability,
